I consider myself a photographer fascinated by weddings, rather than a wedding photographer.

Weddings are just a portion of the work I do, but they influence and inspire my editorial and commercial work. They train me to work fast in chaotic situations, find sweet light quickly, command attention when necessary and make myself invisible when not. I am most interested in making photographs that feel true to the spirit of the wedding, not following a shot list or an itinerary. These photographs will help shape the bride and groom’s memory of their wedding.
